How to wash
1. Use a neutral detergent without bleach, softeners, or fluorescent brighteners. Softeners can affect the fabric’s properties, and bleach may cause fading or discoloration.
2. Fill tub/bucket with lukewarm water below 30°C. Add a small amount of detergent and mix to create suds. Avoid using too much detergent to prevent residue.
3. Submerge, pressing gently with both hands to remove dirt. Open zippers for an easier wash.
4. Use a soft sponge to gently scrub away dirt for stubborn areas.
5. Rinse thoroughly, changing the water until it runs clear, ensuring no detergent remains, as it can affect the fabric’s water-repellency.
6. To drain water, use a towel instead of ringing the jacket out.
7. Turn the fabric inside out to prevent water from being trapped within the outer layer. Place the item against the drum’s side and set the shortest cycle, around 30 seconds to 1 minute. Repeat as needed.
How to dry
1. Turn the fabric inside out and open all zippers. To prevent UV discoloration, hang dry the jacket upside down in a well-ventilated, shaded area. By hanging it upside down, the hood dries faster.
2. Do not use a dryer or dry clean, as it can accelerate adhesive deterioration.
Water-repellent care
Applying heat with a hairdryer can restore diminished water repellency. Do not use a dryer or iron. Regular water-repellent maintenance is recommended.
Hold the hairdryer about 15 cm away from the product and apply warm air evenly. Avoid high temperatures and keep a safe distance from the fabric.
