HLC Kitakanto

Located at the foot of Mt. Nasu in the Kuroiso area of Nasushiobara City, Lunettes serves as an HLC Place*, with staff member Tomoyuki Meguriya as its ambassador. Lunettes offers a variety of outdoor programs in the northern Kanto region, often blending Tomoyuki's passion for Tenkara fishing and MYOG (Make Your Own Gear) into these unique experiences. Whether you're seeking adventure or hands-on learning, Lunettes provides a dynamic platform for outdoor enthusiasts.

*Yamatomichi HLC PLACE is the hub for our HLC activities in each area. It will serve as a place to hold programs, meet and exchange knowledge with other ultralight hikers.

HLC Kita-kanto ambassador

When Tomoyuki was 20 years old, he climbed Mt. Nasu with a friend and was left with inexpressible feelings. Tomoyuki first encountered ultralight culture when he picked up a Yamatomichi Sacoche. Around the same time, he also discovered the beauty of making his own gear, and found joy in going hiking with tools that he had made by hand. After retiring from a camera manufacturer, he joined Lunettes. Besides hiking, he is also into fly fishing and telemark skiing.
