Japan’s May Holidays

In Japan, early May includes a string of national holidays known as Golden Week. It’s one of the country’s busiest holiday seasons, and many businesses take time off during this period.

Below, you’ll find the schedules for our repair department, customer support team, and the store hours for Yamatomichi Kamakura and Kyoto.

Our repair and customer support teams will be operating as usual on weekdays (Monday to Friday, closed on national holidays). Please note that inquiries received between May 3rd and May 6th may take us a little longer to respond to. Thank you for your understanding.

The Yamatomichi Online Shop will stay open throughout Golden Week, with regular operations and shipping continuing as usual.
