Introduction

  • Wash regularly to remove the dirt and sebum stains that hinder the fabric’s water resistance and moisture permeability.
  • The product uses very light and thin, water resistant and moisture-permeable fabric. Please machine-wash with gentle water flow and use a neutral detergent for delicate clothes.
  • The heat of the tumble dryer or iron can restore the fabric’s water repellency.

What you will need:

  • Neutral detergent or rainwear-specific detergent
  • Laundry net
  • Tumble dryer or hair dryer or iron

How to Wash

1. Close the zippers, if any, to avoid damage caused by contact with metal parts.

2. Please use rainwear-specific detergent or neutral detergent that does not contain bleach, fabric softener, or brighteners. Do not use fabric softener or bleach as they may cause color fading or discoloration.

3. Do not pour the detergent directly onto the product; instead, use the input port or wait until the water is filled in the wash tub.

4. The product uses light and thin fabric. Set your washing machine to “Gentle Course” or “Hand Wash Course” with gentle water flow. This will shorten the stressful process of wringing and dewatering, and minimize the risk of damage. The residual detergent may hinder the properties of the fabric. Rinse well, if applicable, more than twice so that the detergent is completely washed away.

5. Please wash it separately or use a laundry net to keep it in a good condition.

TIPS: Pre-treatment before the Machine Wash

For noticeable stains, please apply a pre-treatment detergent to the stained area and cleanse in advance. If the stains are hard to remove, please try a dry cleaning service.

1. Add a neutral detergent to the lukewarm water (approximately 40°C) in a bucket or bathtub, stir well, soak the product in it, and wash the stained area well.
Please Note: Do not rub the seam tape or the joints on the reverse side which are ultrasonically welded.

2. Please apply detergent directly on the noticeable spots before the machine wash.

How to Dry

1. Line-dry in a well-ventilated shade.

2. If you choose to use a dryer, please dry at a low temperature, the upper limit of 60°C. Dry separately to keep it in good condition.

How to Restore Water Repellency

Water repellency is usually restored by the heat of a hair dryer or tumble dryer. The initial water-repellent finish will gradually be weakened by friction during wear and washing. If you notice that the water repellency is not restored by the heat, it is probably time to try an outdoor-specific water-repellent spray or a dry cleaner’s water-repellent service.

1. If you choose to use a dryer, please dry at a low temperature, the upper limit of 60°C. Dry separately to keep it in good condition.

2. When using a hair dryer, keep the air outlet 15 cm away from the product, and apply warm air evenly. Keep a decent distance between the fabric and the warm air outlet.

3. It can be ironed at a low temperature without a cloth. Avoid high temperatures as the hot iron can melt or damage the fabric.
